I have always loved good action movies so THE EXPENDABLES was on my list. Now, I did read a lot of reviews of this film, and the majority of them were bad! However, most of this ‘over 40’ cast (except Jason Statham who’s 38) in their own right, have coined the term “action” before the newbies you now see in movies, so they deserved my attention. I know when polls are taken on ‘if you can be anyone, who would you want to be,’ the top answer is “to be famous,” & the second runner-up……yes, you guessed it, “to work for someone famous.”  I’m not sure what people think “being famous” is! Seeing your picture in the tabloids, being an actor in films or on TV, perhaps it’s having lots of money, or just being recognized because you have a Reality Show & get to act like an idiot in front of millions of people.
